Delete your account.
How to delete your The Everyday Athlete account, in the app or on the web, and what happens to your data.
1. Delete it yourself
You can delete your account at any time, in the app or in a web browser:
- Sign in to The Everyday Athlete app, or at www.everydayathletehub.com.
- Open the Menu and choose Settings.
- Under Your data, choose Delete my account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
2. Or ask us to do it
If you can't sign in, email sarah@everydayathletehub.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.
3. What is deleted
- Your name, email address, photo, bio, town, date of birth and gender
- Your profile picture file
- Your membership of every hub, and your ability to sign in
4. What is kept, and why
Your logged training sessions, race entries, forum posts and challenge submissions are kept so that hub leaderboards, forum discussions and history stay correct and useful to other members, but they are no longer linked to you. Wherever your name was shown, it now reads “Previous member” instead.
Records we must keep by law — for example, payment records for tax purposes — are retained for the period the law requires and then deleted.
5. More information
See our Privacy Policy for everything we collect and your other rights, including getting a copy of your data.
